About the Young Adult Division & Create Your Jewish Legacy at the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati

The Young Adult Division (YAD) mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for young adults (age 25-45) to learn about and engage with the Jewish Federation. Additionally providing opportunities to connect with other young adults to maximize a communal sense of responsibility, YAD works to foster young leaders through leadership development as well as community engagement.  LEAD (Lead, Educate, Act and Develop) is a YAD initiative to educate young professionals in Cincinnati about all that the community offers, ultimately preparing each participant to take a leadership position within the Jewish community.

The Planned Giving and Endowments department focuses on building the long-term stability and sustainability of the Jewish Federation—and the community—by encouraging donors to make a legacy gift in their will, retirement fund, or life insurance policy. Create Your Jewish Legacy (CYJL) is an initiative to assist our local agencies and congregations in building their own endowment funds. The Legacy Flame is a unique, interactive exhibit to recognize donors who make this type of gift.
